Information we collect

We collect the information you give us when you sign up or go through onboarding, such as your name, location and spiritual background. If you use KnowHim as a guest, we give you an anonymous user ID so your content can be saved on your device.

How we use your information

We use your information to run and improve KnowHim. That includes personalizing devotionals, reading plans and reminders, saving your prayer requests, tracking your progress, and storing your preferences and onboarding answers.

We do not sell, rent or share your personal information with third parties for marketing or advertising.

Data storage

Your data is stored with Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore. We keep only the information we need. Registered accounts are stored under a unique user ID, and guest users get a temporary ID.

Cookies and tracking

KnowHim does not use cookies or tracking pixels, and we don’t collect data for behavioral advertising or marketing.

Data sharing

We don’t share your personal information with third parties unless the law requires it, or it’s needed to protect the rights and safety of our users or others.

Your rights and choices

You can delete your account at any time. You can also contact us to review, update or remove your personal information.

Children’s privacy

KnowHim is not intended for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we’ll let you know in the app or another appropriate way.
